A gel manicure at La Dolce Nail Spa means your nails stay glossy and chip-free for three to four weeks. We apply gel polish layer by layer, curing each coat under UV light so the color hardens and bonds to your nail. You pick from our full color wheel or bring in a photo of what you want. Our techs handle the shaping, cuticle work, and design details before the gel goes on.
Spring heat and humidity are hard on regular polish, which is why gel holds up so much better here. We use quality gel brands that won't peel or dull in the Texas sun. If you want nail art, stamping, glitter, or ombre effects, the gel base makes all of that last longer and look sharper than traditional manicures. We also offer gel overlays if you want length without acrylics.

Gel manicures typically last three to four weeks before you see growth at the base or any chipping. How long yours lasts depends on how fast your nails grow and how much wear and tear they get.
Does gel polish damage my nails?
Gel polish itself doesn't damage healthy nails. The damage usually comes from improper removal. We soak and gently file off your gel to protect your natural nails, so you shouldn't have any problems.
Can I add nail art to a gel manicure?
Yes. You can get designs, glitter, stamping, ombre, or any custom art applied on top of your gel base. Gel holds nail art much longer than regular polish, so your design stays sharp the whole time.
